Drivers that compete in races, try to compete in races and/or have their cars at shows earn
points towards the Modified and Sportsman Championship each race season.
The points are awarded as follows:
-last car to finish race with no cars in the pits receives 3 points. Each car that finishes ahead receives 1 additional
point for each position it finishes ahead of the last car all the way up to the winner.
-last car to finish race with one or more cars in the pits receives 4 points. Each car that finishes
ahead receives 1 additional point for each position it finishes ahead of the last car all the way up to the winner.
Each car in the pits receives 3 points for being there.
-all cars that show up at the car shows are awarded 3 points.
